The Itinerary & Experience
Day 1, 2 and 3 in Bentota
Upon arrival in Sri Lanka our chauffer will transfer you to Bentota, interesting beach destination in the south coast of Sri Lanka. You have one full day of relaxing by the beach followed by an experiential walk across quaint local villages all the way to the border of Sinharaja Rain Forest where you would be able to witness some great scenery and understand the local way of life. Stay in a stylish boutique hotel by the beach.
Day 4 and 5 Yala National Park
You will be driven to Yala National Park with an enroute visit to Galle Dutch Fortress. Take a guided afternoon and morning safari in Yala National Park to see the elusive Leopard and Sloth Bears. You would also be able to go fishing with a local fisherman to learn the traditional way of fishing. Stay in a luxury tented safari camp.
Day 6 and 7 in Kitulgala
Take part in adventurous Canyoning expedition in Makandawa rain forest jumping and sliding in to natural water pools followed by an adrenaline rushed White water rafting trip in River Kelani. Stay in a stylish boutique hotel by the border of Makandawa rain forest.
Day 8 and 9 in Knuckles mountains
In to the mountains of Knuckles Range. Go trekking and explore the cloud forest and swim in a waterfall, a full day adventure in the Knuckles Mountains. Stay in a luxury mountain camp.
Day 10, 11 and 12 in Sigiriya
Cycle with villager, across rural villages passing paddy fields, farming fields and lakes all the way to Sigiriya Rock. Climb and explore the architectural masterpiece of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Upon descending from the rock fortress, cycle to a scenic spot to enjoy a picnic lunch. You will be staying in a stylish boutique hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 13, 14, 15 and 16 in Kalpitiya
Finally at the beach. When not relaxing by the beach, go for a Dolphin and Whale watching boat trip in the Indian Ocean. Enjoy scrumptious local seafood cuisine and cycle along the backroads of the area.
Day 17 - Departure
